Currently, I am a writer and content strategist living in NYC. I have relocated a few times in the last decade or so, but New York is my home. No matter how far I stray, it always calls me back for one reason or another.
I had been involved in the music industry for over 10 years and wore many hats while there. Marketing, content writing, management, audio engineering, producing, editing, copywriting, product description — I did it all.
I now write for my own blog, Socks On An Octopus, which has grown quite significantly even though it is still basically in its infancy. SOAO’s popularity developed with no outside help or financing. Nothing but hard work, persistence and quality content has brought us to where we are, and I’m rather proud of that.
I write because I have the ability. I suppose this is true since people tell me I do it quite well at times. That, and the fact that they also pay me.
I work on songs a lot, and am also a singer/songwriter for a cozy little band with no name — at least not yet, we’re new. Others would probably say I am a vinyl-junkie-music-snob, an amateur chef, and even more of an amateur hockey player, but a good friend.
I also enjoy my bike and the company of cats. Dogs, too. OK, most animals that I know of which can’t kill me with a swift blow or venomous bite are usually cool.
Head on over to my contact page to say hello, hire me, or just make it clear that you hate my guts. You can also do most of that on my social platforms, so hit me up there as well!
