Except it’s really not.
The fact that we’re on the eve of April Fools’ Day makes me really want to say that this is some elaborate setup for a prank that will inevitably fall flat. Remember the Orangered vs. Periwinkle debacle from last year? I guess it worked for some people and obviously brought Reddit a lot of traffic, but for myself and many others it just became a jumbled mess. For most of the day I couldn’t even get on, and when I could, every thread was overrun with those hats — or whatever-the-shit they were “rewarding” users with — rendering all of the text basically unreadable.
